Exciting new adventures with Away From My Desk!

The new website brings more possibilities to you. Firstly, we can bring you our latest news and share how others use our system to bring you new ideas. If you have something you would like to share, something you use Away From My Desk for that you don’t think others would, then please let us know and we can feature it on our site!

Secondly, and most importantly, the log in system has changed. This has the biggest impact on how you log in but should mean you log in successfully more often, which is great news! There are some new features built in which make it easier to see when a machine is in use or offline making the system easier to use.

 

We have had some great responses to the site so far, many of you love it and are finding it easier to use. Some have had some teething issues, most notably forgotten user details and some great suggestions!

 

We are listening to all of your feedback and implementing it as soon as possible where we can. You may notice that your session ‘times out’ after 30 minutes of inactivity and some customers have asked for this to be optional, especially when working from a safe environment such as home. We have added the function for to disable this feature, just use the tick box in the top right corner of the computer list page when you log in.

 

The new site allows us to develop our software more behind the scenes, we have had some great suggestions for what features people require and will be working through our list to see what we can add for future updates.
