Changes To The Away From My Desk Office

A new sister team, a fond farewell, and two very good boys and girls joining the family.

It’s been a year of happy changes here at Away From My Desk. We’ve had a proper clear-out, shuffled the desks around, and thrown open our doors to one of our sister companies, We Do Your Marketing – Marketing Director Harry and Consultants Liz and Jake have settled in beautifully, and having their skills on hand is already making a real difference to our website, social media and marketing.

The move came as we said a fond farewell to Sandra, one of our Solutions Consultants, who’s moved on to progress her career in business administration after nearly two years with us. We’ll miss her enormously and wish her all the best. And it’s not just people who’ve joined the family – meet Ronny and Ginny, our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel office pups, who spend their days playing fetch, doling out cuddles, winning games of tug-of-war and then napping to recharge. Everyone fell for them on day one.

Who doesn’t love the chance to have a good clear-out of their desk and indulge in a new working atmosphere? What better way to do this than to have an office move around! Here at Away From My Desk we have welcomed one of our sister companies, We Do Your Marketing, into our little world. Marketing Director Harry, and Marketing Consultants Liz and Jake have made a great addition to our office.

This change is a result of one of our Solutions Consultants, Sandra, leaving the business. We recently said goodbye to Sandra who was working for us for just under 2 years before she found an opportunity to progress her career in business administration. We will miss Sandra very much but wish her all the best for the future and am sure we will be keeping in touch with her outside of work.

 

The office merge will help us work on our marketing, social media, and website management with on-hand support from the marketing team. Beth is currently learning lots of new skills regarding website design and marketing so that we have marketing skills readily available in our own team!



The Away From My Desk family have also gained two new additions this year, Ronny and Ginny who are brother and sister Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Ginny is Bekah’s puppy, and Ronny is Beth’s puppy. They don’t live together and so love coming into work to see each other! They both enjoy going for walks, giving cuddles to all the staff, play fighting with each other and keeping guard of the office. Everyone instantly fell in love with them on their first day in the office. Their working days consist of playing fetch with their favourite toy, lots of toilet breaks and playing a quick game of tug-of-war before having a long nap to recharge.
